I really was not too sure how to start this new post about my studies.  However, I saved all of the posts I did for
my visitors on Alexei Fans Place so I decided to begin with news from last Novemeber where I began my final course
for my third semester.  I have been studying faithfully in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2006.
I am really looking forward to starting my fourth and final semester , and finally graduating .
Here is news I shared on November 27th, 2012.

Novemeber 27th, 2012
Hello again !  I hope everyone that celebrated Thanksgiving had a very blessed time with friends and family.
Recently I started my final course in my third semester , and I wanted to share how I have been doing so far.
So far I have passed two lessons ,  in Lesson 1 I learned how to define a family.
The roles that parents play in their children's lives.
Waysparents can be involved in their child's educational life.
How parents involvement affects their child's self - esteem.
It has been really interesting, and I passed my exam with 100 %.

I was really happy.  Then, today I had the exam for Lesson 2 and in lesson 2 I learned the benefits of a family-teacher partnership.
Benefits that the children gain from it, high self-esteem which plays a major factor in how well the child will do in school.
How the family can benefit me as a teacher, for instance sharing more information with me about their child, and
sharing our experiences , as well as coming to a solution together to any problem.
I passed my exam with 100% and there were some tricky questions again, I double checked some of the answers and
changed some, but this time it was a good thing , because I had them
wrong.   Today I read a little about the introduction to Lesson 3 , and lesson 3 is about the aspects of the family-teacher partnerships.
The potential barriers , and actions that can be taken to implement or create a solid foundation for successful parent - teacher
relationships .

Until the next lesson !

Take Care!

Happy studying if you are in school as well !

Re:Early Childhood Education 2006-2013

After Christmas , and taking all of the decorations down, and dealing with some other stuff, I got back to my studying.
I learned more about the barriers and road blocks that most likely will happen between a teacher and a parent.  I finished reading
my two chapters and last month I was expecting to find an exam after I finished my review questions.  All I ended up finding was
a shocking surprise, I knew I was going to have to complete a Mandatory Graded Assignment for the course at some point.
I was just not expecting it to be so soon, so I glanced at it, and there were a lot of parts to it .
Some of it looked confusing to me, it was going to be a challenge, and I already had a lot going on .

So, I while I dealt with other things, I carefully started over and read chapter three and four all over again.
I really took my time and reviewed ,while I also looked for specific topics that were listed.
Then, I just read each part carefully, even spent time writing it down to make it really clear .
Basically the assignment deals with the topics related to how a parent can feel when they
have conflicting emotions about the teacher and leaving his or her child with that teacher.
Some times jealousy can come into play, and the parent might think the teacher wants to replace them
in their child's life.  Then, they want me to share a positive desire I am still not really sure I have that one answered yet.
But, I am still working on it, I wrote down the conflicting emotions, and what I thought was a positive desire.
Then, the next part wanted me to share about something else that can happen.  Teachers could develop
a mixed role and feel they could do a better job, and how dangerous it is for a teacher to think this way.
Then, after that I am to share how a teacher could help a parent understand that they he or she is not trying to replace them.
I shared an example of a fictional parent and teacher working together to help a little girl not to cry during nap time, because she missed her mommy .
Then, the last part was about the same as the other part, I have it all written down, I just want to look up
a few things about it Online to see if I have any other points of view or if other ideas come to me to write down.
So, that is where I am at for the moment, I have been taking care of my mom and helping her, so my assignment
has been on hold for a little bit, but I will complete it.  Then, I will share all about how it went after I send it in for grading.

Until Then!
Take Care!

Hello again !  I hope everyone is having a nice day, or night depending where you are.  I have an update on the assignment I had to do. After my last post, I spent a good deal of time doing research on the web for my assignment.  Some of the areas I had more success at finding additional information for, than others.  So, I made a lot of changes to the original idea I had shared, and I ended up typing a mini essay / research paper using the topics I was given.   This took me several months to complete, and each step was filled with challenges.
However, back in April I started typing everything , and I had my sister read a copy to read, just to check it over. She really helped me, she let me know she liked my information, and she cleaned it up for me.  I was really grateful for her help, and after some adjustments I mailed my final draft to my school .  After waiting for a little while, I had my results come in the mail.  I was so happy when I found out I had passed,  I had a 100, and a very nice letter from the college , I was so relieved.   I also found out recently that my current course has two Mandatory Graded Assignments .I was not thrilled, but just like this one I will do my very best.

I have been taking a little break , and mostly spending my little break creating an album for all of the 2011, and 2012 American Bald Eagle pictures in my photo account.  I also had to post the pictures again because the links that were with the original pictures posted here were broken.  So, I try my best to post and replace at the same time so that visitors do not see that I deleted the image.  I am working very hard on this project, and starting my post about last year's aquarium adventures , I also want to continue my writing to My Alexei, and get some video games played again. But, I can only take life one step at a time .  My prayers have also been with the people in Texas, and Oklahoma after those devastating storms and tornadoes.

Have A Safe And Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Until The Next Lesson!

Re:Early Childhood Education 2006-2013

Hello again!  I have been thinking and praying a lot about what would truly make me happy, especially after I disagreed with a statement that was made in my textbook.  It said something like I was going to have to accept families made up of gays and lesbians having young children.  Well, I am a strong Christian and that just did not fly right with me, so then I became sick, but I trusted and leaned on my Lord, and God.  HE got me through it all .

So, anyway I did start studying again, but my heart was not really in it, it was like God was leading me down another path. HE gave me a plan HE had for my life all along, it was interesting how strong of a connection we had while I was still recovering. HE literally came to me in my dreams, because that was when my mind was the most still and I was ready to listen. I had a conversation with HIM about how unhappy and stressed out I was over my current studies.  So, God told me that I would work with animals, I always had a strong bond with animals, and like I have mentioned before, Petco would be a place I really wanted  to work at Petco, because I truly care about animals and how they are treated, and Petco really cared about the animals in their care , it was so touching that I got misty eyed when I thought about it.  Through my adventure of owning and caring for fish, they really got to know me, and my fish. They were happy when I took a new friend home with me, advised me on what to do when I couldn't figure out what to do, and even shared in my pain when I lost my fish friends, and they smiled and chuckled at times when I shared about Petie.

So, I wanted to love animals, and care for them, I did kind of let Ashworth know that I was leaving , but I wanted to return and study their course for writing children's books.  It was not a big secret that I loved to write, just take time to read My Alexei. I  was also writing another chapter for Choices Of The Heart that I wanted to continue.  So, on top of that I did want a career with animals, and it had been my childhood dream to be a veterinarian assistant, and I saw a school to go to get trained. I did not know if it had Online classes or not, but once I knew the time was right I looked into those things.  Medical and financial issues kind of caused me to put these plans on hold , but I was going to put them into action if it was the Lord's will.

Stay tuned for more updates on these changes
Hope everything is going your way as well !
