My mom and I saw a pirate that we really liked on sale at CVS last year.
I stuck him in another vacant flower pot , and he will hold the tombstone from now on.
I also found an orange solar powered light that would only come on when it was dark.
It cast an eerie glow on his face at night .  Oooooooooooo spooky, just kidding.
Looks like Jack Sparrow a little bit doesn't he?  Yep he would say, "Where be my ship the Black Pearl?"
Just kidding again .

  Here is a picture of our front porch decorated for Halloween .
Last year I also bought little lanterns, one was a ghost and one was a pumpkin.
I tried out our Command hooks , I guess they don't stick to stucco , because a while after I had hung them up,
I heard them come crashing down .  I was pretty fed up and I just placed them on our table.
I also thought that I would share something funny that happened last year while we had our hose decorated for Halloween.  The young man that treats our lawn from Scotts came one day, and he saw our other decoration on the door, the guy that says, "Come Closer,"  well my mom showed him what it did .  After that, he did not want it to come out at him , he cautiously approached our door, opened it looked at it, and quickly went through the door.
Then, after he was ready to leave, he was very cautious , it was so funny.  Mom and I just laughed, but beware there are decorations out there that are motion activated.  I wanted to get one, but my mom did not like the idea, good thing I guess our lawn guy would have been too terrified to come back.

Last year,  I decided to try having our reaper sit up , and mom let me use something to prop him up.
I think it really worked out well , and he held one of our Jack-O-Lanterns, that added more light.

   I have another funny story , I did not think it was too funny when it happened, but now it is funny to me.
One night, I went out to the front porch and started turning everything off, well when I got to the reaper I saw something crawl out fast .  I had a heart attack , but laughed after I saw that it was a little gecko.  The gecko liked the reaper too, it could hide , well I left it alone and went into the house.
Then, the next day the same gecko posed for its picture, before we made it scurry out with a broom, for its own good.
Geckos that don't have an escape route back outside to hunt for bugs , and get water,  die.  So, we always try to give them a chance to escape.
