Hello!  I hope you are having a great day, yesterday I went to my dentist and had my first two teeth fixed, they filled the fractures on the tooth next to the tooth that had the leaking filling, and gave me a new filling, then they filled in the cracks that happened after the filling began leaking into my tooth, they put in new filling for those cracks, and place a crown for the top of my tooth. My gums are still a little sore from the numbing shot and having three or four instruments in there at the same time.  However, i did not have to have the stuff I call goop, instead they used a scanner, scanned my tooth and designed the crown right on site using a 3-D printer!  In the past crowns had to be ordered while I had a temp to wear, so that was cool!  I have been trying not to talk funny, but the important thing is that I will be able to sing this weekend with the choir. Praise the LORD!  I also worked on the next set of pictures, there are nineteen pictures of the Living Room's Christmas display from last year.  I am going to begin by sharing the first five pictures.  I hope you all enjoy seeing the pictures.

The first picture is of our new mantle decorated for Christmas.

The second picture is the first Christmas scene up close, with the focus being on the Nativity.

The third picture is of the second Christmas scene up close, and last year that plucky side of the web lights gave up and they all went out.

I did my best to hide them and keep the new set to the front.  This picture focused in on our angel.

The fourth picture is of the third Christmas scene up close.  This time the camera focused in on the carolers.

The fifth picture and final picture for today is of our red fancy Christmas bows.

Next week I will try to continue sharing the pictures!

Until then, I hope you enjoy your day and first weekend of Fall, if you are entering into Fall.

Re:Indoor Christmas Display2023

Hello!  I hope all of you are safe and having a pretty good day, I never really had a chance to share how I felt about the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.  I was inspired by the athletes, and I thought Team USA was awesome!  I really got into the sitting volleyball.  I was so proud of the Women's team winning another gold, and I also heard that we could participate too, and I know if I played the game, I would constantly be called for butt lifts I would not be able to sit still, I really get into games like that.  Then, last week I worked on the pictures, but my picture site had an issue, so I could not post them like I wanted to.  Then, we had a storm start to brew, that became a major hurricane, that was named Helene, she covered Florida even while she was off our coast, Helene hit as a Cat 4, pretty close to a Cat 5.  We had rain and wind that knocked out our power on every hour up until after 11PM that Thursday night.  My heart and prayers are still going out to everyone that was impacted from the Big Bend of Florida to the Gulf Coast of Florida, to Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia, and Tennessee.  On the night of landfall Florida lost its first victim to Helene, I don't know why, but the person was driving on the road, when a high-way sign flew onto their car and killed them.  Then, the numbers for all of the fatalities were 121, then 160, and the latest I heard was 190!

I will continue to pray for everyone, and I also am keeping an eye on the next system that will be Milton, forecasted to be a Tropical Storm, and will impact Florida starting on Sunday when the rain starts, and into the early part of next week, which is the last thing we need, people are still dealing with the flooding Helene caused.  So, please keep Florida in your prayers.  My mom had some good news this week, her oral surgeon cleared her for the next step, which is a scan by our dentist next month, and fitting for the bottom teeth!  Yesterday, I had my flu shot and Covid booster done so I am sore.  Alright I have four more pictures to share.

The sixth picture is of our Fiber Optic Christmas Tree.

The seventh picture is the second view of the same tree.

The eighth picture is a close up of the Christmas Carousel.

The tenth and final picture for now is the third view of the Christmas Carousel up close.

I will try to work on more pictures as soon as I can, after whatever Milton is going to do.

Until Then!

Enjoy Your Weekend!

Re:Indoor Christmas Display2023

Hello!  I am sorry it has been a while since I shared the pictures, last week Milton made landfall in Florida, I thought he would stop at a Tropical Storm, but it did not take long at all for Milton to go past that status, become a Hurricane and a major Hurricane, before he hit Florida, he was gaining strength, and he was a Cat 4 went up to Cat 5, then back down to Cat 4. Another difference was that my area was under a Hurricane Warning, so I got us as prepared as I could, but on last Wednesday, shortly before the landfall as a Cat 3, we started to lose our power, it fought back a couple times, but the winds knocked it out for two days. My prayers were with the people on the West Coast, they had it way worse, and sadly I heard of four fatalities, one of the four happened when a tree fell onto a woman's house and killed her.  The other one I knew about happened after the storm was over, during a cleanup an older gentleman stepped on a power line that was down and died.  My prayers are still with everyone that is still having flooding, no power, and the threat of flooding around the St. John's River, so please keep Florida in your thoughts and prayers. In one county alone, the damage was worth over 2 million dollars.  Milton quickly reminded me of the power behind Hurricane force winds, so I am thinking that if there is a next time we are going to go to a pet friendly shelter.  We were also very glad that the weak palms we had were taken down before Helene hit.  Today, is a beautiful day and I am ready to share more pictures.  I will share four today and the last five next week.

The eleventh picture is of our Christmas Nativity Plate.

Christmas-Nativity-Plate-2023.jpg

The twelfth picture is the first picture of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Hello!  I hope you are having a fantastic day; this week my mom and I filled out our ballots and I mailed them, so we voted, and we continue to pray for the future of America.

I also planted some more flowers which is something I always love to do.  The weather has been beautiful, but there is something trying to get its act together in the Western Caribbean. So, I am keeping my eye on it and checking the news reports each day, it looks like it will develop after Halloween.  I will try to keep you all posted, but the Halloween display is going to be on the porch only and very small, so I am taking the year off from sharing the pictures, I think I have given my visitors a very good idea of how my house is decorated.  I am also still posting last year's Christmas pictures with only a week away from Halloween.  I just want to catch up with the other sections on Once Upon A Dream.  I am ready to share the last five pictures that I promised.

The fifteenth picture is of a new Nativity Corner that I set up in the Living Room.

Nativity-Living-Room-Corner-2023.jpg

The sixteenth picture is of a Classic Christmas Scene.

Let's pretend that the puppy is licking Santa's thumb.

The seventeenth picture is of our indoor snowman, Frosty.

Frosty-2023.jpg

The eighteenth picture is of our big Christmas tree, I did do the math last year and there are 850 lights, although one set does have a side that wants to go out.

So, I believe that in the very near future I am going to get another set of multi-color web lights.

The nineteenth and final picture is another look at our big Christmas tree.

Next time, I will share pictures of our Christmas Village.

Until then

Enjoy Your Weekend!

Hello again!  I hope all of you that celebrated Halloween had a fun and safe time, sadly during a celebration in Downtown Orlando, a seventeen- year- old boy walked right in with a gun, and he shot the people that were there having a fun Halloween, two died and others are in the hospital.  I also heard this week that in three states, some ballot boxes and a USPS box were set on fire, why do people do that?  I am just hoping that the mail and the ballots inside those boxes had already been collected for the day.  I am praying that the rest of the votes will stay safe, awesome news though, 60 million Americans have already voted!  Whoa!  News in the Tropics, there are now two systems that I guess will merge into one or play with each other and sheer each other apart.  Models are still not sure, it could head off to South America, or Texas, then another possibility is that the storm Patty will come into the Gulf Of Mexico.  So, I am keeping an eye on it and checking my local news for developments.  One thing is for certain, Patty's chances of development went up to 70% and Florida has had two cold fronts that cooled our waters down, and right now we have a high pressure dominating our weather with plenty of dry air, which has made our rain chances slim to none.  In other news, I stopped feeding my Venus fly traps those gross mealworms, I put them in the bird feeder, and it was licked clean, I am hoping to finish them off in the feeder again.  Shaggy is going through regrowth, and Scooby is working on a gnat.  I also ordered plant food online and it is gel that mimics their prey, and it came today, so I cut some up and placed it in Shaggy's dirt to hopefully help the new plants in development to grow.  That is all of the news I have so far, and I will do my best to keep you all posted on Patty, who is going to become a TD this weekend.  Now, I am ready to share the three pictures of the Christmas Village in the morning room.

The twentieth picture is the first view of the 2023 Christmas Village.

Christmas-Village-1-2023.jpg

The twenty-first picture is the second view of the 2023 Christmas Village.

Christmas-Village-2-2023.jpg

The twenty-second picture is the third view of the 2023 Christmas Village.

Christmas-Village-3-2023.jpg

Next time, I will share the pictures I took of my own Christmas display in my room.

Hopefully next week, but it depends on the Tropics and how things go.

If you live in a time zone where EST begins, don't forget to fall back and set your clocks back one hour.

I know I am so looking forward to it, but I do love the extra hour, it is just making sure all of our clocks are on the same time, not fun.

Until Next Time!

Enjoy Your Holiday Weekend (Halloween) and please stay safe.

God Bless!

Hello again!  I hope that all of you that also celebrated The Day of the Dead had a fun time with your family members from the present and the past, it is always a wonderful thing we all can do for our loved ones that passed away, to remember them, and to honor the lives they lived.  Last week I mentioned that we had some activity in the Tropics, well there were three systems, but Patty was pulled away from land by the High- pressure system that I told you all about, so she was no threat.  Then, I watched Rafael, he was forecasted to become a major Hurricane and make landfall anywhere from Texas to MS a state that is hard for me to spell right now, but Alabama is close by.  Well, the latest models have him spinning himself out and fizzling out even before he can hit any land.  If anything, else develops I will do my best to let you know, but I am avoiding the news right now, and I will do so for the next four years as much as I can.  If you are not from the United States and you live in another country, you might be shaking your head.  Believe me, that is how I feel, I don't have a President after Biden leaves, so I don't want to know what is happening in the government for the next four years, and like before GOD is my President, the only way I will hear stuff, is by watching Stephen Colbert.  Anyway, I will not leave my party I am staying a Democrat, and just trusting GOD to protect everyone and everything.  BIG s to everyone that is in my boat, we will get through this together.  I hope my next set of Christmas pictures will bring you a little cheer.

The first five of the pictures is of the first section of my own Christmas Room Display.

The twentieth picture is of my Santa stocking.

My-Santa-Stocking-2023.jpg

The twenty-first picture is of the mirror decorated for Christmas, with new decorations.

The twenty-second picture is another view of the same mirror.  You all can see what was on the TV.  Do you recognize the show?

My-New-Christmas-Mirror-2023-2.jpg

The twenty-third picture is the third view of the same mirror.  I had a new friend on my daybed, Pluto.  I went to Walt Disney World last year for my birthday, and my sister bought me Pluto.

I might share about my Disney birthday in the future.

My-New-Christmas-Mirror-2023-3.jpg

The twenty-fourth picture is the third view of my mirror.  I went to the top of the mirror, so you all can see the blue curtains and daybed.

My-New-Christmas-Mirror-2023-4.jpg

Next week I will hopefully be able to share the next section of Christmas Room Display.

Until Then!

Stay Safe And Healthy!

My prayers are still with the Ukraine and Irael and that the hostages will be freed soon, both wars end before the crazy years begin.

My prayers are with my country and that Democracy will live on.

God Bless!

Happy Veterans Day!  If you served in any branch of the military, I want to say Thank you so much for your service!

Hello! I hope all of you are having a lovely day, today I went shopping for some Christmas decorations, like I had said I bought another 150 multicolor lights for our tree, and I found some new people for our Christmas Village.  Earlier in the week, I also went shopping for a mission my church has with Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child, I felt like a kid again finding toys and stuffed bears, I also bought them some activity books, the girl got a book that she can paint in just by adding water, I also got them each a bar of soap, a washcloth, a toothbrush, hair brushes, and some hair accessories for the girl.  I will be putting the two boxes together either today or tomorrow, pray for the boxes and the children receiving them, and then I will take them with me to church for collection.  I am also watching out for rain next week from Sara, a Tropical Storm in Honduras, and then the system will come my way, some forecasts want to amp her up to a Hurricane, but the forecasts I have heard are saying she will be bringing rain, so I will continue to monitor the situation.  For now, we are having a cold front and a beautiful day, so I am ready to post the next set of pictures of my room decorated last year for Christmas.

The twenty-fifth picture is what I called, the First Christmas Wall.

The twenty-sixth picture is of Alexei Claus.

Hello!  I hope all of my visitors are having a wonderful weekend, the cold front did not bring much to write home about, the remnants from Sara were supposed to mix in with the cold front and bring strong storms.  Nothing happened in my neck of the woods, not a single drop of rain, the front did usher in some colder air though.  I had brought my flowers in for the weather event, and I was glad I did, because yesterday I was covering the flowers that could not be brought in.  I also worked on the pictures; I have four this time due to the fact that I was not very happy with how the picture of the Christmas windows turned out, so I will try to take a better picture this year and add it to last year's pictures.

The thirtieth picture is the first picture of my daybed all decked out for Christmas.  I had way too much silver garland for my little tree, so I hung some on my daybed.

Decked-out-Daybed-23-1.jpg

The thirty-first picture is the second picture of my daybed. Pluto looked so cute in his Santa hat.

Decked-out-Daybed-23-2.jpg

The thirty- second picture is the third picture of my daybed all decked out for Christmas.

The thirty-third picture is of the stocking that I hang up for Sammy every year for Christmas.

Yesterday marked his 78th month with us!

Next week I will continue working on the pictures of my room decorated for Christmas and share them if I can.

Until Then,

Hello!  I hope that all of you that celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful day with your friends and family.  I was happy to be able to spend this year's Thanksgiving with my mom.

I also hope you all have survived Black Friday I avoided it as much as I could.  I decorated for Christmas instead, on Thanksgiving morning I decorated the living room, yesterday I put up our living room tree and all of the figures, and this morning I put up our Christmas Village.  We had another cold front come through, so I covered my flowers and brought flowers into the garage again. I also worked on the next set of pictures in between practicing for the concert tomorrow.  LOWC is going to sing back up and with the Gold City Quartet.  We sing with them at a 3:30 PM show and again at 6:30PM.  It is going to be a busy day, but fun, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.  The songs we will sing with them are I Have Seen The Light  and At The Midnight Cry.

Now I will share the next section of my room that was decorated for Christmas last year, this time I uploaded five pictures.

The thirty-fourth picture is of the other stocking with Santa.

Stocking-with-Santa-Claus-2023.jpg

The thirty-fifth picture is of three Christmas stockings that were hanging in a row.

The thirty-sixth picture is of the stocking with Santa Paws and the puppies.

The thirty-seventh picture is of something new that I tried with decorating the filing cabinet, I used wrapping paper and stickers.

The thirty-eighth picture is just another view of the wrapped filing cabinet.

Re:Indoor Christmas Display2023

First of all I have to say Thank you for your prayers and keeping my choir in your thoughts!  The Gold City Concert on last Sunday was wonderful, I don't think it is available online.

They had a warning in their Promo video that prohibited any kind of streaming or taking videos without their permission.  I did see a young man during both of the concerts with a video camera, he was recording them and us, but I don't know if he was with our church, or a part of their crew, or with the news for The Villages. I can tell you that at the end of At The Midnight Cry, in both concerts the congregation or audience stood up for all of us.  The four men said it was a treat to hear us sing and let them know how lucky they were to have us sing often.  GOD was given the glory, and the birth of Jesus and HIS return were both magnified.  This week was another busy one, I began decorating my room and I have the first half of my room ready for Christmas. I also decorated outside and made some much- needed replacements in red bows and lights for two of the deer, I finished replacements this morning, and I set up our Nativity scene on the front porch, which I hope they light up tonight, but I know where to find their bulbs, if they need replaced as well.  I also got the gift cards for my sister and extended family this morning, of course I practiced for this weekend, with the choir and by myself.  I am ready for a long winter's nap already lol.  I also worked on the next set of pictures, I just finished uploading them a little bit ago, so they are ready for sharing right now.

This weekend on Sunday, I hope to continue decorating my room for Christmas, I have the windows, the daybed, maybe the filing cabinet, my headboard, the fiber optic tree, the Nativity with angels, and the Christmas corner.  I also want to share some awesome news about Operation Christmas Child, LOCC packed their 200 thousandth shoe box this year, that was our Filler Factory alone, then our church brought in a lot more boxes, that was the weekend we celebrated the 200 thousandth shoe box, and we were told that out of 50 million children around the world, 25 million children attended the discipleship program and decided to follow Jesus!  Then, last Sunday we had another update the number of shoe boxes in 2024, and counting was 26, 578!   During the collection week, other churches and people in the community brought their shoe boxes.  That was exciting news! Okay, now I will share the pictures.

The thirty-eighth picture is the first picture of my headboard all lit up and decorated for Christmas.

Headboard-Lit-Up-2023-1.jpg

The thirty-ninth picture is the second picture of my headboard.

Headboard-Lit-Up-2023-2.jpg

The fortieth picture is of a gold Christmas bulb that I hung over my 2024 calendar, I know it says February and deep into it, that is what that Flu did, pushed me back further than I wanted to be.

Gold-Bulb-2023.jpg

The forty-first picture is the first picture of my own Christmas Nativity.

Christmas-Nativity-2023-1.jpg

The forty-second picture and the last picture is a close up of my own Christmas Nativity.

Christmas-Nativity-2023-2.jpg

There are only a few more pictures left of last year's Christmas, and I hope to continue sharing them and maybe finish them next week!

Until Then!

Stay Warm, Healthy, Happy, Hopeful, Joyful, and Show Your Kindness.

Enjoy Your Weekend!

God Bless!

Hello!  I hope you all had a great week, I had another busy week, on top of my usual routine I worked on getting my room decorated for Christmas, I only have the little Christmas display in the Den to set up, then it is done.  My mom and I plan on doing our traditional Christmas shopping around the latter part of next week.  I also have the rest of the pictures ready to share.  There are six pictures, and then I will take a break from pictures and work on completing more of the content for the Animals &Pets and have that section completed.  However, for now I will share the pictures and wrap up Christmas of 2023.  I will take that one picture I promised from the window display and share that, but that will be all I do for the time being.

The forty-third picture is the first picture of my Christmas Corner with lights.

The forty-fourth picture is of the second picture of the same Christmas Corner with lights.

The forty-seventh picture is the third picture of the Christmas Den highlighting the snowflakes.
