Here is a picture of our Christmas tree on Christmas Day with the gifts under it .
Polly's and Charlie's gifts are included as well, last year Polly chewed one of her balls and it broke.
So, I took it off and then another ball broke, so on Christmas Eve after looking around before Christmas, and finding
out that my favorite place, Petco had sold out of them, I tried Wal-Mart, and honestly they had a set, which I know I should have grabbed them, but it looked like they had plenty, so I did not.  Well, that was another place I tried around Christmas Eve and they were out of the balls they had.  But, on Christmas Eve, after my church had the Christmas Eve Service, my mom and I went to Pet Smart , and I was holding out hope beyond hope.  It honestly felt like I was a Mom that was shopping for the most popular toy that every kid wants.
Well, I am happy to say that they came through and I was able to wrap a new ball set for Polly for Christmas morning.  I was beyond happy, I profusely thanked the sales associate working there for having them.  She told me that they order them specially for Christmas more than any other time of the year.  I will share more when I post the new pictures of Polly and Charlie in the Animals & Pets section.

More from the Christmas Tree is on its way! 

   Here is a picture of what we gave to Polly and Charlie last Christmas .
I made sure Polly got her Banana scented millet, Charlie got his favorite the Original flavor , and I also
got them some Orange flavored millet.  It also has honey in it, it is interesting and as far as Polly liking it,
well the jury is still out, so there is no verdict yet.  A little joke there , I can say that when I placed it in her treat holder,
she did not immediately go after it.  I think it was different to her in maybe texture , maybe taste .
So, it might take some time to sell her on it, I will be sure to share any further updates if anything else happens.
You all can also see her new ball set that came with some other fun toys.  Charlie was due for a new Forage N Play perch.
So, that was their Christmas .

 Last year my mom wanted to go back to clear lights and we put the smaller Christmas tree next to
it, so it looked very cozy and inviting.  We also kept another family tradition, by singing in front
of the manger holding baby Jesus, after I read the Nativity, we do that before I don on my Santa hat and pass out
the gifts.  I just wanted to share that with you all .

 

 More pictures of the fireplace are coming up!  

     Now things seem to be getting better .  I am so glad I just want to post a few more pictures tonight before
I leave to go watch Person Of Interest .
Please ignore the fan on the floor, I was trying to get everything in the picture, including the little tree I mentioned before.
I just think this is one of the prettiest pictures of our great room/living room décor.

   Here is the last picture for the night .  Tomorrow I will share more of the carousel, as you all can see in the previous picture that I tried a new location.  I think that is going to be its home from now on, it was so much easier to set up, we had more room under the tree to place gifts, and most importantly the horses were not knocked over .  It just looked at home there didn't it?  I loved it and I will post more of those tomorrow or soon.

  Hello!  I am hoping to continue from where I left off which was my promise to post pictures of the carousel .

I took a lot of shots of the carousel , but I will begin with this picture of the entire carousel .

   This picture is a closer look at the same view of the carousel .  I am not sure if I had it on or not, but there is no shiny reflection in this one.

    Here is the picture I snapped of the first three horses, when I looked at photo on Photobucket, it made me think
I had cut out part of the third horse, but it is there .  YAY!

   Alright, I hope this post takes on the second try.  Things are starting to go bonkers again .
One of the horses in this row was hidden by the green garland, so next year I will play around with the placement.

  Here is the only picture that I took of our Christmas Village , I hope you all like it.
We hope to add some more people to our village for next Christmas we shall see.

 Today, I discovered that I left out a picture of the smaller display on our glass table in the living room/great room.
So, I will share that next .

  This is the picture of a little display we put together, with an angel, a stain glass candle with Mary, Joseph , and Baby Jesus, along with another glass figure shaped like Mary, Joseph , and Baby Jesus.  I think they are holders for bars of soap, and these rested in front of a piece of art work that my dad brought home for my mom after one of his trips , and it is The Lord's Last Supper , made of whale bone. I don't condone killing of whales , but maybe the whale died of natural causes.  It is still one of her favorites that stays on our glass table year round.
It was kind of neat showing the story of Christ, that begins with his birth, but does not end with his death, and I am a true believer of the whole story, so this is a special picture for me.  I hope you all enjoy it too.
