Hello!  I hope you all are having a lovely day.  I am keeping track of Hurricane Idalia, so far where I am, we are under a Hurricane Watch, and a Tropical Storm Warning, so please keep Florida in your thoughts and prayers.  I have also been very busy taking care of my mom, her oral surgery went well, but she is still feeling pain.  So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  The pain needs to go away, so that she can have her new dentures for her top and bottom put in by our dentist.  This has been a long road, and we are not at the end of it yet, she had implants and the oral surgeon that I had will cap them in November.  So, I managed to upload the Christmas pictures, for the Indoor Display, starting with the Florida room, or living room whatever you want to call it. I still call it our living room.  I hope to get at least two posted today, and there are ten altogether.  I hope you all enjoy seeing the pictures.

The first picture is of our Christmas bows that hang on the wall every Christmas.

Christmas-Bows-2022.jpg

The second picture is of our Fireplace, and this is the last year for this fireplace, last summer or early fall, the motor that turned the mechanism that made the flames move died, so on my birthday we found one at one of our favorite stores, and this one is an LED, so it is kind of like the fiber optic trees, it has that kind of similar bulb, so no more light bulbs, it is really pretty, darker than the white one we used to have.  I am excited to see how it looks decorated for Christmas this year.

The weather is still holding together, so I will try to keep posting the Christmas pictures from the living room, until conditions change, and I am forced to leave here and shut my computer down.

The fifth picture is the second view of our Fiber Optic Christmas Tree that shows more of what is underneath.

Last year, I added some Christmas bears, and I also used the lights I bought for our main tree, the ones that ran on batteries, I put them around

our carousel.  I really liked how they looked around it too.

The sixth picture is the third view of what was underneath our Fiber Optic Christmas Tree.

The seventh picture is of the fourth view of what was underneath our Fiber Optic.

The eighth picture is of our Mr. and Mrs. Claus.   I had their candles lit, and one night Santa's light on his candle went out, so I changed the batteries, and he surprised me when his arms suddenly started to move again!  I also played their music, it was not too bad, but Santa kept on playing Jingle Bells, so I turned them off.  I tried to capture Santa's arms moving and of course his candle went out again.

Mr-and-Mrs-Claus-1-2022.jpg

The ninth picture is another look at our Mr. and Mrs. Claus, I tried to get her arms to move again, but she was holding the sign, and every time he moved his arms, he elbowed her, so if she would have moved then they would have been elbowing each other, which would have been funny, but not very nice, and at Christmas time we are supposed to be kind to one another right?

Mr-amd-Mrs-Claus-2-2022.jpg

The tenth and final picture from our living room, is of our Main Christmas Tree, and yes last year I added more lights, I think I have five or six boxes of multi-colored lights for our tree. Maybe five, I will share the exact number of lights when I post Indoor Christmas Display 2023.  I will say that each section of that tree is lit.

Next time, when I can, I will upload the pictures of our Christmas Village from my camera to my computer, to my photo site, and post them on here.

Hello!  I hope that all of my visitors are having a great weekend.  Thank you so much for keeping Florida in your thoughts and prayers during Idalia.  My area was better off, so keep the hardest hit areas in your thoughts and prayers, Taylor County, Cedar Keys and Crystal River, they were slammed, and they are in the process of cleaning up and returning life back to as close to normal that they can get.  Mom is getting better, and hopefully next week we can go to our dentist.  Still keep on praying and keep her in your thoughts as well.  This week I worked on the next two pictures that I promised all of you.  Now, I am ready to share them.

The eleventh picture is the first view of our Christmas Village.

Our-Christmas-Village-View-1-22.jpg

The twelfth picture is the second view of our Christmas Village.

A closer look at our Christmas Village and I just noticed that one of little girls fell down in the snow, so let's pretend that she is making a snow angel.

Next time I will share the pictures of My Christmas Room, after I upload them to my computer and my photo sharing site.

Hello! Thank you so much for coming and visiting Once Upon A Dream!  I hope you are having a great day.  I have some wonderful news, thank you again for keeping my mom in your thoughts and prayers, on Monday she will have her new sets of dentures put in!  This week has been busy, but I have uploaded the next set of pictures of My Christmas Room.

I will post them four at a time, so I am ready to share the first four pictures.

The thirteenth picture is of my first Santa Stocking, I hang him up first too, he is the easiest out of all of the decorations in my room to set up or hang up.

He kicks things off, and then I keep on going until my Christmas Room is complete.

First-Santa-Stocking-22.jpg

The fourteenth picture is of my Christmas Mirror and last year I made some important discoveries, I changed some things around, and I wanted to have candy canes at the top.

So, I put my gel cling Santa and Snowman on the bottom and Santa's beard turned red he looked like he had a sun burn.  Then, my poor snow man looked like someone roasted him like a marshmallow, which made me realize that they did better at the top where they always were.  So yeah, the red bled onto the white for Santa.  I think the snow man had too much light hit him, oh well now they have character, right?

Two more pictures to go for today, or this evening.

Here is the fifteenth picture of my second wall that I decorate with a festive picture of Alexei, surrounded by bells, candy canes, and snowflakes just to name a few.

The last picture for now is the first view of my Fiber Optic Christmas Tree, and yes, I know the top of my angel did not exactly make it into the picture, that is why I took more than one.

This is also the sixteenth picture.   I was also undecorating my room as I went along while taking the pictures.

Next time, I will be ready to share the next set of four pictures, I have to rename them, and upload them to my photo sharing site, I will try to work on them next week.

Hello! I hope all of my visitors are having a great day.  I am ready to share four more pictures of my Christmas Room from last year.

The seventeenth picture is the second view of my fiber optic Christmas tree, with the angel's top half in the picture.

My-Fiber-Optic-Tree-View-2-22.jpg

The eighteenth picture is focused more on Daisy's stocking and the other stocking with it, and they are snowmen, but you also get a closer look at my angel.

The nineteenth picture is my daybed at Christmas time.

The twentieth picture is the first picture of my Christmas Window Display that I took at night.

Last year, I moved the Nativity star over to the window where Santa and the Christmas tree used to be, and it was less taxing on the Nativity star's cord.

Then, I placed Santa and the Christmas tree together.

Re:Indoor Christmas Display 2022

Hello!  I am so sorry that I have not posted in some time.  At the beginning of October, my mom went to the hospital, she was just not herself, slept a lot, and she had some falls. So, after a conversation with our doctor's office, I was told to take her to the hospital, and while I was preparing information the hospital would need, she had another fall in the kitchen, and she was too weak to get back up.  She told me to call the ambulance, so I did, and she was in the ER from October 4th -October 6th, and she had what they called, "General Weakness", and she was lethargic.  The head nurse explained to me that her medication levels were off and some of her labs as well.  On the 6th she was discharged, but she had a week of physical therapy and rehab, then she came home, and we both were happy.  Then, on the week she began her home care, she started acting the same way, and sadly she had more falls, also our doctor wanted her to go see a neurologist and be tested for Parkinson's, while we waited for them to call, she had a fall on last Wednesday, and she could not get up, on the next morning, our landscapers came and helped lift her onto the couch, but she could not lift herself up to a sitting position, I called her home care, and I was told to call 9-1-1.  So, again I did and one of the EMTS smelled urine on her and he had a strong suspicion that she had an UTI, which is still undetermined.  All I know is that I smelled it and I gagged, so I have been cleaning and trying to get rid of the smell.  She is on antibiotics, and today she ate her meals, and she was talking more, which shocked her nurses, they thought I should always come around lol, which I have been visiting her in the hospital a lot this month.  She will also be going back to rehab, so if you can, please pray for my mom.  Now, I have good news, tomorrow Live Oaks Worship Choir will be singing in the 8:30 AM service and the 10:30 AM service.  We will be singing some songs with the worship team.  The songs will be: He Reigns Steve Taylor, This Is Our God Phil Wickham, He Knows My Name Tommy Walker, that is our song. Christ Is Enough Reuben Morgan and Jonas Myrin Christ In Us Be Glorified Morris Chapman.  This will be at the Woodridge Campus so set the app and You Tube channel for that location.   Alright on with the pictures.

The twenty first picture is the second picture that I took of my Christmas Window Display that I call The North Pole.

North-Pole-2022.jpg

The twenty-second picture is the third picture that I took of my Christmas Window Display that I call The Nativity Star.

The-Nativity-Star-2022.jpg

The twenty-third picture is the fourth picture of my Christmas Window Display that I call The Nativity Scene.

The-Nativity-Scene-2022.jpg

The twenty-fourth picture is of Sammy's stocking that was kind of hidden by the stocking with Santa Claus. The S is hidden, so we all see Ammy maybe even MMY lol. I know I can't read it very clearly.

Maybe for this year I will put Sammy's at the top and Santa Claus underneath.

Sammy-039-s-Santa-Stocking-2022.jpg

I also have been working on this year's Halloween /Fall display, but there are more Christmas pictures to share, and when I can, I will work on the upload for the next set of four.

Until Then!

Enjoy your weekend!

Happy Halloween to those celebrating!

Hello!  I am finally back!  I have updates on my mom to start off.  One Monday evening of the week of her discharge, I was able to speak to her doctor at the hospital.  I was told her diagnosis which was toxicity that was caused by a medication, which was one of the problems from her first time to the hospital.  She was doing better, her labs were showing normal readings, they put her on two doses of that medication.  I saw a lot of improvement, and on 11-2-23, I was told that she was going to be discharged for rehab.  More good news, she did not have an UTI, and the best news of all, she was seen by a neurologist at the hospital, and she did not have to be tested for Parkinsons!  I gave my GOD praise!   In rehab there were some ups and downs, but she was keeping up her positive attitude, she even made some friends!  She did get sick but knowing that the nurses cared helped her overcome that, and prayers, my church was praying for her, and you know I was praying for her.  Last week I met with her care team, and I got a great report, and they were also meeting to discuss discharge, I asked if she would be home for Thanksgiving, and the meeting went well, I was told on last Friday, that my mom would be able to come home the following Tuesday, so she and I were excited and I was asking her about items she wanted me to take home like the clothes that she was not wearing.  I have been doing the laundry so that I did not have a mountain to wash and put away when she came home.  Today, I went to get the rest of her things and the nurse, and my mom told me that she fell.    She tried to get out of the recliner while it was reclined, and she had a fall that caused her to hit her head, so there was a discussion and her insurance okayed her to stay for observation until Friday, so sadly this year she won't be home for Thanksgiving, but I told her that I would visit her on Thanksgiving and I am going to eat with her.

So, thank you for your prayers, and please keep praying.   Now I am ready to share the next set of pictures from My Christmas Room.

The twenty-fifth picture is of my two red stockings.

Red-Stockings-2022.jpg

The twenty-sixth picture is of a snowflake that is in between the stockings that I call Santa Paws and Santa Claus.

A-Snowflake-inbetween-Santa-Paws-and-Santa-Claus-2022.jpg

The twenty-seventh picture is of a bell with two snowflakes.

A-Bell-with-two-Snowflakes.jpg

The twenty-eighth picture is of hearts made out of candy canes.

Candy-Cane-Hearts-2022.jpgCandy-Cane-Hearts-2022.jpg

That is all I have for tonight.

Stay Warm, Stay Kind, Keep Israel and The Ukraine in your thoughts and prayers.

Re:Indoor Christmas Display 2022

Happy New Year!  My first goal of 2024 is to finish the Christmas pictures.  I have some more updates about my mom, she came home the Friday after Thanksgiving. I also took her to see the oral specialist that performed her surgery.  We had some bad news, the two implants he had put in on her bottom teeth, had failed.  He had to remove them, and she had an infection, so I was busy taking care of her, and trying to find out why her much needed antibiotics and pain medicine was not making it to the pharmacy, then while her home health care nurse was with us, she took my mom's vitals, and her oxygen was at 82!  She feared that Mom's infection went to her blood stream, so yes, I called 9-1-1.  This time a firetruck came with the ambulance, and the home health care nurse talked with them, and Mom was taken back to the hospital.  That night, which was the first week of December, so 12-6-23, the doctor told me that she was on an IV with antibiotics to get ahead and on top of the infection, but it was the same reason as before, her medication's level was high, and after they monitored her, the level was still high, so she had to have three rounds of Dialysis, then she was completely better and allowed to come home on 12-17-23.  She loved seeing all of the lights and decorations, especially ours.  We celebrated Christmas, but that weekend before I realized that I was giving her the other form of medication, and not the form she was supposed to be taking, so I started giving her the other form, and that caused her to overdose.  This was me on the morning of 12-26-2023 before I had to call 9-1-1.   My mom just looked at me like, and .  She did not understand what had happened, once I got my composure back, I called, and I shared all of the symptoms and my confession of my mistake.  She was taken back to the hospital, where they monitored her and treated her through an IV, then her levels were back to normal.  She did not have to have Dialysis, and she was much better.  I also had to talk to a deputy, and I thought I was going to go to jail, but she assured me that I wasn't, and I told her what happened.  Then, I removed all of the medications that she no longer was taking, and I dropped them off at my pharmacy, so that I would never make that mistake again.  Last night, she told me that she was going to be released on 1-1-2024.  I am just waiting for the phone call, so in the meantime I will finally post the next set of pictures.  In two weeks from today, my mom has to have a CT scan so please pray that she has good results.

Here is the twenty-ninth picture which is of my Christmas headboard.

The thirtieth picture is of the first picture of my own Nativity.

The thirty-first picture is of the second picture of my own Nativity.

The thirty-second picture is of the third picture of my own Nativity.

I will upload the next four pictures. I am almost done with sharing My Christmas Room, then I just have Christmas Day to share!

It might not even be four we just have to wait and see.  I hope that all of you who celebrated Hanukkah this past year had the brightest lights burning on your menorahs.

That you who celebrated Christmas, had all of your Christmas wishes came true, and for those who began to celebrate Kwanza, that you are surrounded by hope, love, and family.

I am still praying for Israel and the Ukraine!  May God Bless Us One and All in 2024.

Until Next Time!

Enjoy Your New Year's Day!

Re:Indoor Christmas Display 2022

Date Posted:02/21/2024 11:53 PMCopy HTML

Hello!  I have made it back!  I have to apologize for not being here, and I have a very valid reason.  I made a decision back in the end of December to have our home phone # transferred over to the same company where our mobile phone service is serviced.  So, I called my mobile provider and asked about the home base converter, and I was told all about it, then I called again and had it all arranged.  I also called my telephone company to let them know.  I was just trying to save some money, because of all of the medical bills, and our current bill was over $100.00.  I have another valid reason, after that happened, 2024 came in, and so did the Flu.  I got the other side of it, coughing, high fever, which at first, I just thought it was annoying allergies, or a very bad cold. I had friends offer to buy me medicines, and one brought me teas to boost my immunity.  But, on the morning of the 9th of January, I tried to go to Urgent Care, but they were closed, so I went to the same hospital that treated my mom, and after my temp was taken, I talked to the nurses there, and I was swabbed in my nose, I was tested for Flu, COVID, and RSV, after 45 minutes or so, they had the results and I was given the news that I had the Flu, it did not matter that I had my shot.  I knew where I got it, while I was visiting my mom in the hospital the month before, there was a man across from her room, and he was coughing like crazy, so I suspect that I got it from there.

They gave me a prescription for TAMIFLU, and I also bought some more pain /fever reducers, I had some at home, , but it was not Tylenol, so I bought Tylenol and Motrin IB, I was drinking the teas religiously and I was getting my rest, once i got home from my pharmacy, I was texting with loved ones, and I found out my sister had tested positive for COVID again!  She works in a new company, so she got behind on her boosters and other shots.  So, she prayed for me, and I was praying for her. Oh yes, the same day I found out that I had the Flu, I woke up after a long nap and my phone had an alert on it, that said my area was under a tornado warning, so at first I did not believe it, but then I got the official call from my county, so I moved Sammy and Daisy into my mom's closet, (who was at rehab btw), and we sat in the closet, the wind made a whistling sound, and our power almost went out, so we stayed there and I listened to the radio for the all clear.  Yes, that was scary, but GOD protected us.  After that, I did my best to get better, my mom had to stay in rehab until the 15th of January.

So, remember that device I mentioned?  It came in the mail while I was recovering from the Flu, so on the 12th of January, I unknowingly killed my internet, and believe me I kicked myself. So, I called on the 16th, bought a new service, it was a blessing to already have their modem, and my order date was going to be January 29th, so I was counting down the days, other things in our house were also missing the internet.  Well, the week before that I had my follow up and I told the head nurse that I was still coughing, and having nasal issues, but the Flu was gone. So, she gave me some prescriptions, and the one for the cough made me very drowsy, so on the morning the tech came I did not know it was him, he could not reach me, so he left.  I called them, and got another date which was not going to be until February 21st, so I counted the days again and this morning I got up early, got dressed, and he came while I was writing a check to pay a bill, the minute I heard some noise, I went out to meet him, I also had our garage door up, so that he could see the car.  So, happy ending I have my internet back!  I am pretty sure that I lost my Keep And Share account. They wanted me to sign in every month and I missed my January sign in.  So, if there are some broken links or pictures, I will see what is missing, and I will add those pictures to new albums on my imgBB, and fix those pictures.

However, my goal for now is to finish posting the Christmas pictures from 2022.  I have two more from my Nativity to share and two more of my Christmas Corner, I have also edited some pictures from Halloween 2023, so present pictures will be my priority for now.

Here is the thirty-third picture, which is a close up of my angel, or one of my angels.

My-Nativity-Angel-2022-1.jpg

The thirty-fourth picture is a close up of my other angel, that always adds beautiful light to my room during the Christmas season.

The thirty-fifth picture is the first picture of my Christmas Corner.

The thirty-sixth picture is a closer look at my Christmas Corner.

Christmas-Corner-2022-2.jpg

The thirty-seventh picture is a bonus picture and the final picture from My Christmas Room 2022!

I call it Three Snowflakes 2022.

Three-Snowflakes-2022.jpg

Next time, I will be ready to share the picture I took of our Christmas Den and Christmas Day 2022!

Until Then!

Enjoy Your Day!

Stay Safe And Kind!

Israel and the Ukraine are still in my prayers, along with other countries dealing with bullies and dictators that think they can just bulldoze their way into a country that wants to remain free!

Enjoy Your Day!

If you are seeing snow, stay safe and warm, and if you are seeing sunshine and blue skies, stay safe and cool, if you are seeing lightning, hearing thunder, and rain then stay safe and dry.

I am still praying for the Israel and the Ukraine, and I will be sure to keep the folks in California, as they are dealing with some nasty winter weather.

God Bless!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great day.  It is a really nice sunny day in my neck of the woods.  The perfect weather to post the next two pictures and the last two pictures of our presents unwrapped on Christmas Day of 2022.

The forty-sixth picture is of my mom's shoes, but I think she had to take them back, they fit her in the store, but then her feet got a little swollen, so they went back.

She also got another pair of shoes to replace them, I believe.  Then I had my presents in the picture, my sister sent me a DVD of the movie that came out the year before, or maybe it was the same year, the newest movie from the GHOSTBUSTER'S franchise, GHOSTBUSTERS Afterlife.  I also picked out a set of writing pens, that were not that great, a new band for my watch, that I had to take back because it did not fit, and I ended up getting a new watch with a wide band that was not made of leather.  I also found a new pair of boots, because the ones I had literally fell apart, along with my own pair of tennis shoes, the white ones, that I still wear to this day.  Oh, and I finally saw the movie last year and I loved it!  I have seen all of the movies, but the one in the theaters now will most likely be my next request for Christmas this year, but it looks awesome.  My Buddies 2023 calendar was also in the picture.

The forty-seventh picture and last picture from our Christmas Day of 22 is of one of our decorative lamps, you all can see the inside of my white shoes, my Buddies 2023 calendar, and my other calendar BIBLE Verses for 2023.  Our new toaster was also in the picture again.   My new shoes also made a reflection on my Buddies 2023 calendar.

I hope that everyone who is celebrating Easter that you all have a happy, safe, and peaceful one!  Also, LOWC will be singing, a small brave group will be singing at our Sunrise Service, then I will join a much larger group in singing at the 8:30 AM service and 10:30 AM service.  So, look up the LOCC Woordridge Campus on You Tube.  I want the songs to be a surprise, so I am not going to mention them, but one of them we were going to sing for Easter of 2020, and I loved it, so I was excited and really happy when I saw that we were going to sing it this year.

Next time I will share the presents that Sammy and Daisy were given and wrap up 2022!

Until Then!

Enjoy your Easter Weekend!

I am still praying daily for everyone at war and for everything.

God Bless!

Hello!   I hope all of you are having a great week.  I have some time off from choir practice, so I wanted to continue sharing the pictures from 2022's Christmas.

These last pictures are of what Sammy and Daisy were given later on Christmas Day, around nighttime.  I hope you all enjoy seeing them!

The forty-eighth picture is of the presents that were wrapped and under our Fiber Optic tree with an up -close view of them.

The forty-ninth picture is of the same wrapped gifts for Sammy and Daisy with all our Fiber Optic Christmas Tree in view.

The fiftieth picture is of Sammy's present wrapped up in his stocking.

The fifty-first and last picture of Christmas Day 2022 is of Sammy and Daisy's presents after they were unwrapped.

Sammy and Daisy had some new food and water dishes, I accidently ordered more than I meant to, but that worked out because I can put a set in the dishwasher for cleaning,

then they have another set to use while the others are being cleaned.  Sammy also had a new mineral treat, and Daisy had some more of her favorite Millet. We all had a wonderful Christmas.

The day after Christmas, I was putting some boxes, bows, and wrapping paper away for the following year.  I also did some organizing in the den's closet and guess what I found?!

No, it was not the teddy bear tablecloth, but it was my set of my multi-color lights that I put on my daybed!  I had placed them in a box, and I even wrote what was in the box on the lid, but then I forgot that I had done that.  So, I had more lights for my Christmas Room Display in 2023!  I was so happy!   I am also very happy that I got the pictures for 2022 done.

Until next time !

Have A Great Day!

I Am Still Praying For Everyone And Everything!

God Bless!
