Hello!  I hope all of you are having a great weekend and maybe staying cool.  It is very warm here it is safe to say that Spring has sprung. Life has been busy again, back in March very early into the month, my mom had a bad fall.  She told me to call 9-1-1, and I did, she could not get up, and I know that falls are painful but there was something different about the fall.  She tried to get up, scooted on the floor, and when the EMTs came, she actually screamed when they took her on a metal stretcher, and she cried too, when they put her on the normal stretcher.  I went to see her that night she had been admitted into the hospital, and she told me the doctors told her after a scan and X-rays that she had broken her hip.  She was taken into surgery the next day after her fall, and she spent about a week in the hospital, then she went back to Rehab on the 9th, and on Monday I will pick her up she will come home.

While all of that was going on, poor Sammy kept on injuring his foot, and it seemed to get better, but he suffered from another injury, he used only one foot to get around, and he flew up to his perches, rather than jumping up to them.  I prayed for him, but I just could not find time to take him to the vet, and on the day, he starred passing away I tried to get him into the vet, but the vet was in surgery and he could have went in as Urgent, but he would have been all by himself, and who it to say that he would have survived the car ride, and it was warm that day over the safe temperature for birds, so together the receptionist and I decided it would be best for Sammy to pass away, so I found him a place, we had another stump that was rotten, and I cleaned it out for our flowerpot to sit down in without titling over, so I made a resting place for him in the stump, and I found a tissue box and got myself prepared for his passing.  He just rested on the floor I said my final good-bye to him that night, then he passed away on March 11th, 2026.  Did I cry? Yes, and when I saw signs that he was dying, did I beg GOD not to take him? Yes. I got down on my knees. Did I apologize to him for not calling the vet sooner? Yes. I knew that he was not suffering anymore, and I will try to post this update and pictures of Sammy that I took last year, if the posting will work.  It has been frustrating for me to try to post the same post over and over and it either vanishes and does not post, or I get error messages like one told me the Topic was deleted?!  I am not sure of my future here, but I am dealing with a lot, so my decision won't be overnight,

I am going to try another idea that I had to either make a new topic then keep Gracie's topic for pictures, if I can even post those.  Or save Gracie's post, delete it, and post it again with a new topic.

Taxes have been completed too, so maybe now is the time to start fresh somewhere else, I don't know, I will pray about it.  I have been here since 2018, that is 8 years, and part of me wants the issue to go away so I can stay here.  Another idea I had is to just post about Gracie and her new friend here on General Topics, since this is the place where we can talk about anything we like here, but I know I need to make Once Upon A Dream and its future a matter of prayer.  Okay, sorry I just wanted to share some news and updates.

Tonight, earlier this evening, Live Oaks Worship Choir sang, and we were accompanied by five trumpet players.  After the service 19 people were baptized!  I did not stay for that, but I am happy they made the decision to follow Jesus!   It was a beautiful day for it too.  Sorry again.  The songs that are being sung this weekend are: Christ The Lord Is Risen Today, Hallelujah Chorus , Sunday is Coming (congregational song)   He Lives - anthem.  You all can head over to You Tube , look up LOCC and Woodridge campus 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM, and 10:30 AM. The videos will be available until Tuesday, and our Pastor took a break from Revelation to share the Easter message, I hope you all get to see him preach too.

I also hope you all who are celebrating Easter, have a very happy and safe and a wonderful time with your friends and family.

Until Next Time!

Enjoy Your Weekend!

God Bless!
