‍Part Sixty-Two April 21st- April 22nd

‍Sunday, April 21st, was the LORD's day, so after I woke up and got ready for church, I fed Toby and Skipper.  They ate their shrimp pellet , but I was still concerned about the skin issue.  I kept my eye on them .  I also cleaned Petie's cage, had a piece of toast for breakfast, and mom and I left for church , when it was time to go.  Where we visited with each other, sang together, prayed , and praised the LORD together.  The message was titled , "The Fire Falls and We Rise Up."  I learned more about the meaning of Acts 2: 1-13.  I learned how the church has been the cavalry for pardon; but it has not received power , or used the power.  I also learned that Bethlehem also means GOD is with us.  Calvary means GOD is for us, Pentecost means GOD is with in us . Also that many believers do not know about the Holy Spirit .  The Christian life is about receiving power and being with GOD.  Acts 2:38.  The Holy Spirit is not just for a select group of people, no it's for everyone who received Jesus Christ .  I also learned that in some churches nothing really happens , there is not much preaching about Jesus Christ as being the way, the truth, and the life. Nothing about GOD as the Holy Spirit.  The sinfulness of man  and repentance .  Christianity is what GOD does in us. Being a Christian is knowing the right person, and the right person is Jesus Christ. Knowing HE lives within us.  It is not a religion  we need it's righteousness, not creed, not communion , though all of these are important, it's knowing the Holy Spirit . Needing the fire to fall, and the power to shine through all of us who know Jesus Christ personally.  The reality of the Holy Spirit is GOD's love and how HE enables us .  Revealing Jesus to others.  After closing prayer, I helped with counting the money for our Love Offering , before Mom and I went home, and we had lunch before we went to ‍Petco ‍for answers .  A new pet expert, that knew his way around an aquarium and fish, cleared up one thing for me.. He told me that it was not normal for Toby and Skipper to be shedding their skin.

He also suggested that I get a test , to test my aquarium for copper.  He also showed us what he used in his tank, a chemical called, PRIME, he thought it would help Toby and Skipper, and other fish in the long run.  So, we got that, and I bought some more suction cups, and pellets, before we looked for the test for copper, and we did not find it anywhere in that store, or ‍PetSmart, ‍and we could find it there either.  So, we went home, and I added the PRIME , in its measured amount, before I read John 20 to Petie, spent some time in prayer, and I took my concerns to my LORD, I also rested, we had supper, and later on I got ready for the night, hugged my mom, then I had my routine with Petie, Skipper, and Toby.  I also prayed for Toby and Skipper again, and I went to sleep.

On Monday, April 22nd, I woke up, and I checked on my fishy friends.  I also checked to see if Petie was ready to begin his day.  He was, and he had a happy little chirp.  I had breakfast, got ready for the day, cleaned Petie's cage, worked on my paper, after Petie and I spent some time bonding, we had lunch , then I read more of John 20 to Petie , before I had a nap.  After I was well rested, I helped Mom with supper, and the dishes after supper, before I took out the trash.  Then, later on, I hugged my mom, got ready for the night, had my special time with Petie, Skipper, and Toby, spent more time in prayer, and I went to sleep.

 ‍Part Sixty-Three Tuesday, April, 23rd

‍On Tuesday, April 23rd, I woke up , had my morning routine, which also included feeding Toby and Skipper, and I had some breakfast.

After the morning game shows, I got ready for the day , before I cleaned Petie's cage.  After Petie's needs were satisfied , I worked some more on my assignment.

After lunch, I worked on changing the water, so I spent time trying to catch Skipper and Toby in the red plastic cup.  I caught Skipper, and I carefully put him in the carrier. 

Toby put up more of a fight, but I did not give up, and I caught him too, before he joined Skipper .  Then, they swam around, while I cleaned the surfaces, before I added the new

suction cups to the first airline tubes.  I also cleaned the filter, and the gravel, then I gave the aquarium's decorations a good cleaning.

Once all of that work was completed, I scooped Skipper back into the red plastic cup, and I allowed him to swim out back into his home. 

While, Toby on the other hand, wanted to play hard to catch , even while he was in the carrier, I caught him though, and he joined Skipper . 

Once they were settled back in, I gave them their shrimp pellet for supper.  I also read John 20, while Petie listened, helped my mom with supper,

and after supper dishes, I took out the yard waste container.  Then, I came back inside and watched some TV, like ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Robot Combat League ‍‍, "Built Like A Champion."

Team Crash won!!  I was happy for that team, and the team was made up of a father and a daughter.  After the show was over, I got ready for the night , watched the news too, then I hugged my mom , had my good nights with Petie, Skipper, and Toby.  After I had my prayer time, I went to sleep.

 ‍Part Sixty-Four Wednesday, April 24th, 2013

‍On Wednesday, April 24th, 2013, I woke up, and I completed my morning routine, before I turned on the light to Toby and Skipper's watery world.  Despite their skin issue, that was getting a little better, they still ate their algae pellets .  I had some breakfast, watched my shows, then I got ready for the day.  After I got ready for the day, I cleaned Petie's cage , before I worked on typing my paper, until it was time for lunch.

After lunch, I read more of John 20, and I had prayer.  After my time of prayer, I spent sometime resting , before I brought in the yard waste container.  Later on, I helped with supper, and we cleaned some dishes after supper.  We also decided to put the rest of the dishes in the dishwasher, we watched a show together, then we hugged.  I fed Toby and Skipper their nightly shrimp pellet, and watched some more TV, before I got ready for the night.  Then, I watched some news and Disney before I had my special bedtime routine with Petie, Skipper, and Toby.  Once Petie was covered, and Toby and Skipper's light was turned off, I had some more prayer time , and I had a peaceful night's rest, happy to have ended another uneventful day.

 ‍  Part Sixty-Five Thursday, April 25th, 2013

‍I woke up , before I made my bed, and I also fed Toby and Skipper, after I uncovered Petie's cage.  I had some chatting time with him, then I had a waffle , while I watched the morning game shows.  After breakfast, I got ready for the day, and I cleaned Petie's cage, finished my source page for my paper, helped mom with lunch.  Once lunch was over, I read more out of John21, while Petie quietly listened.  Later on, I helped mom with supper, and the dishes, before I took out the trash. 

When the trash was out, I came back inside and enjoyed another relaxing evening, the fish were doing well, so I watched TV with my mom, we hugged, and I got ready for the night.  Then, I watched some TV shows in my room, before I gave Toby and Skipper their nightly meal , of shrimp pellets, that I watched them gobble up.  Then, I said my good nights to Petie, Skipper, and Toby , and I spent more time in prayer, before I went to sleep, feeling very happy to have another uneventful day, as far as Toby and Skipper were concerned.

My prayers are with the folks that recently were in the path of  Hurricane Sally, and for the folks in Bermuda who had Hurricane Paulette, and now have to brace for Hurricane Teddy, then the folks in Texas and Louisiana as they prepare for possible impacts from Wilfred , as well as Mexico.  I am also praying for the folks in California and the deadly wildfires there.

 ‍Part Sixty-Six Friday, April 26th, 2013

‍On the morning of Friday, April 26th, I woke up, uncovered Petie's cage, and I fed Toby and Skipper.  I also ate a waffle, before I got ready for the day.  After the morning shows, I made my bed, then I cleaned Petie's cage. Once Petie's cage was cleaned, I went to the computer, and I sent an e-mail with a file that contained my paper to my sister.  Then, mom and I had lunch , after I gave Petie his well deserved carrot.

That afternoon, I tested the water in my five gallon aquarium , and I was very happy , when the results showed me that the properties were good.  PH was a little low, while the Ammonia level was between safe and ideal.  I still swapped out some of the water, and put in some fresher water.  I also continued reading John 21 , before I spent some time in prayer.  Then, I relaxed , watched some TV before I helped mom with supper.  After supper, I watered the flowers, then I watched ‍TANKED, ‍and the episode was called, "A Guiding Light To Fitness."

Mom and I hugged too, before I got ready for the night, and I watched some more TV.  After I turned the TV off, I said my special good nights to Petie, Skipper, and Toby, had more prayer time, and I thanked GOD that my aquarium was doing so well, despite the whole skin shedding mystery , then I went to sleep, and slept well.

     ‍Part Sixty-Seven Saturday, April 27th, 2013

‍On Saturday morning, I woke up, made my bed, and I uncovered Petie's cage, he was happy, then I checked on Toby and Skipper.  After I checked on my boys, I helped Mom with our Saturday breakfast.  I also helped her with the breakfast dishes, before I got ready for the day.  Then, I gave Petie his bath, while I cleaned his cage for his royal treatment.  Toby and Skipper ate their breakfast, and I did my chores before we had lunch.

I gave Petie his carrot, that he gently took from my finger with his beak.   Mom and I also started thinking about getting another car.  I did not even argue with her about it, I agreed, our car was a 2006, and we had to keep a battery charger in the trunk , in case the car's battery suddenly died on us, also we wanted something that was a little cheaper to fill up at the gas pump.  We had tried to do some looking before New Years, but we really did not see anything she liked , or that I liked. 

Then, I rested for a little while, after I read John 21, while Petie quietly listened as he always did , and we were getting close to the end of John.  Petie watched some TV with me, and I helped my mom with supper , and later on, after we hugged, I got ready for the night , and I watched some more TV, that included some news, picked out something to wear for church, and I had my good night routine with Petie, Skipper, and Toby, before I had my bedtime prayers, and I went to sleep.

   ‍Part Sixty-Eight  ‍Sunday, April 28th, 2013

‍I woke up very happy, because it was Skipper's fourth week with us!  It was also the LORD'S Day.  I got ready for church, and I cleaned Petie's cage after I gave Toby and Skipper their algae pellet.  Petie and I had some one on one time, while I also ate a piece of toast.  After we were ready, we left for church, and at church, I visited with some folks, before we were settled.  We all sang and praised the LORD, we also prayed together, before my focus turned to the message, that was titled, "More Important Than His Presence."  The message was from John: 15:26, 27, 16:5-16.  I learned more about the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is a person.  I also was reminded that I am to live my life by the way I talk.  Then, I heard more about Pentecost, and how Pentecost revealed three things, they came together, prayed together, and they waited expectantly together.  Be together with GOD.  Really understanding the Holy Spirit.  Pentecost brought forth the Holy Spirit to live in us.  Under the Law of Christ.  Christ's life in me, dwelling in me .  Many believe that Christianity is what we do, but it really is about what Christ does.  Not what you know, it is who you know.  Christ is with me everywhere I go.  I allow Jesus to work through me.  Overcome obstacles, victory in Jesus through HIM.  Jesus returned to HIS FATHER, and HE sent the Holy Spirit.  After Jesus died for us, and our sins.  Increase the importance of having GOD in us.  Nothing happened without the Holy Spirit during creation.  GOD created the Holy Spirit .  GOD being excited and expecting things to happen through the Holy Spirit .  Everything is planned.  Reaching out to others.  Once the message was over, we had closing prayer, before I helped with counting the money for our church's Love Offering.

When we came home, I read more of John 21, while Petie once again sat quietly on his perch and listened , then I had some time in prayer, and before lunch I checked my e-mails. I had several, but the one I read and reviewed had my paper .  My sister helped me polish it a little, but in her reply she let me know that my paper was very good.  So, I printed the revised paper and got it ready to mail to my University the next day, and I was so excited to be done with the assignment.  I enjoyed my lunch, after Petie had his carrot, and I checked on Toby and Skipper, they were doing very well.  After lunch, I relaxed and watched some TV, before I helped mom with our supper.  Toby and Skipper also had their second pellet, that was shrimp flavored.  Then, I worked on some posts about the eagles, before mom and I watched some more TV together.  Later on, we hugged, I got ready for the night, watched more TV, before I said my Good nights to Petie, , Skipper, and Toby, before I turned out their light, covered Petie's cage, and I had prayer, then I went to sleep.

 ‍  Part Sixty-Nine Monday, April 29th, 2013

‍On the morning of April 29th, I woke up in a pretty good mood.  I uncovered Petie's cage , before I talked to him.  I also checked in on Toby and Skipper, then I fed them.  I ate a waffle for breakfast, and I watched the morning game shows.  After breakfast, I got ready for the day, before I cleaned Petie's cage.  Then, I decided to review my paper one more time.  Once I was satisfied with my paper, I helped Mom with lunch.  After lunch, I read more from John 21 to Petie, and I had prayer.

After prayer, I had some rest, then later on I helped Mom with supper.  When supper was over, I took out the trash, before I continued working on the posts for the eagles.  Then, I relaxed for the rest of the evening, while I watched various TV shows, before I hugged my mom .  After we hugged, I got ready for the night, and I wished Petie, Skipper, and Toby a good night, covered Petie's cage, turned off Toby and Skipper's light, had more prayer time, then I went to sleep.

My prayers are still with folks out west who are enduring wildfires, the folks in Central America still cleaning up and digging out from impacts from Hurricane Iota , and for people who have lost jobs, homes, and for the folks that need a little extra help this year , not to mention the tremendous amount of families that will have empty places at their tables because of COVID 19 deaths .  BIG 's to you all, I know all too well what it is like to lose loved ones.  I know brighter days are ahead for all of us.

   ‍Part Seventy Tuesday, April 30th, 2013

‍I woke up this morning, and I made my bed, after I uncovered Petie's cage.  I also got ready for the day, then I got my assignment out in the mail. I was so happy to be finished. Petie was happy too, and we watched the morning shows together, while I also had a waffle for breakfast.  After I cleaned Petie's cage, I relaxed , and watched some more TV, then Mom and I had some lunch, and it was after lunch when I changed some of the water from the 5.

That was the moment when I saw what looked like rust on its lid.  So, I was concerned , today also marked Toby's 9th month with us, so I wanted him to see his 10th month with us.  I also wanted to remove the possible cause for their skin shedding.  I showed my mom, and we discussed the possible options, at first she wanted me to try a screen she bought to separate the lid from the water in the aquarium.  However, that really did not work, it made the lid not close all of the way, so we could not have that , and we had another discussion , before we both decided to go back to ‍Petco‍. 

After we arrived , we were given some great help in finding Toby and Skipper a new home.  We did some looking around, before we selected a 10 gallon aquarium that came with its own heater!  I was really excited about that, and the fact that I was told that I could have more fish friends for Toby and Skipper.  The 10 gallon tank was made of glass and it had been manufactured from the same aquarium company that my 5 gallon aquarium came from.  I still asked  a lot of questions, and in the end I was a lot happier , we went home with our purchase, and had supper before I took our recycling bins .  Then, I worked on some posts , before I relaxed, watched TV, and my mom and I hugged.  I got ready for the night, before I watched some news, and continued reading John 20 to Petie.  Mom and I said our good nights, then I also wished my babies, Peite, Toby , and Skipper good night, and I had prayer before I went to sleep, that was even more peaceful because I finally discovered the source behind Toby and Skipper's skin shedding issue, and I knew with full confidence that the problem would never happen again.

For those of you who celebrated Hanukkah , I hope that you had a happy one filled with love, joy, and light.  For those of you celebrating Christmas , I hope you have the merriest, and brightest Christmas and that you truly embrace the true reason for this holy season.  For those of you who will be celebrating Kwanzaa , I hope  you have a special time with loved ones filled with light. All of our celebrations focus on light , Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of the oil needed to keep the lights burning for eight nights, Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus , our light of the world, who came to us when we were surrounded by darkness, to be with us, to walk with us, and to die for us.  I know there is still a lot of darkness, because of this year, but GOD is with you , and HE will never leave you nor forsake you.  If you are missing loved ones due to travel restrictions, or even more sadly deaths , know that right now GOD is carrying you through this , and there are brighter days coming, and just like I do every time a loved one passes away, you will get through it .  You will love again, you will laugh again, and what always helps me is to share memories about my loved ones with family and friends.  Right now, I think I am finding time to finally grieve over the death of my last surviving grandparent, my grandma .  I miss her, and I still pray for all of my family back in Indiana, and I pray nightly for all of you who tragically and suddenly lost many , many loved ones, families who will be forever changed, and I will continue to pray for all of you.  I learned a little more about Kwanzaa that also celebrates light, and celebrated for 7 days , by African Americans that are from all walks of faith, it is a time to celebrate who they are and the coming in of the harvest, it is also very family oriented and I know this year they will be missing loved ones.  So it does not matter what we are celebrating, we all have suffered loss, and we all are looking for a beacon of hope this December.

 ‍   Part Seventy-One Wednesday, May 1st, 2013

‍I woke up this morning, and I made my bed.  I also fed Toby and Skipper, after I uncovered Petie's cage.   After breakfast, I got ready for the day, and I cleaned Petie's cage .  Mom and I had some lunch, while Petie had another well deserved carrot.  Once lunch was over, I washed my hands and added some of the measured amounts of Melafix and Primafix.  After I was finished with that, I began setting up the 10 gallon aquarium.  Toby and Skipper made me happy, when I noticed that they were more active after the treatments.

It was great to see them swim around more.  Once the work was done for the day, Mom and I had supper before I read Acts 1 to Petie, had prayer, before I went to the computer and worked on some posts.  I hugged my mom , got ready for the night, watched some TV, and some local news.  Then, I wished Petie, Skipper, and Toby a good night , turned out Toby and Skipper's light, and I covered Petie's cage for the night, before I had my bedtime prayers, then I went to sleep.

    ‍Part Seventy-Two Thursday, May 2nd, 2013

‍I woke up this morning feeling pretty good..  I made my bed and I checked on Petie.   I also fed Toby and Skipper, had a waffle for breakfast, and I was happy because they were more active.  After the game shows, I got ready for the day, before I cleaned Petie's cage.  I also worked on some posts about the American Bald Eagles.  Mom and I had lunch, and after lunch, I added more gravel to the 10, then I worked with the pump and air stones.

After my hard work was done for the day, I read Acts 1, or I continued reading in Acts 1, while Petie listened.  I also had my prayer time, a nap, and I helped Mom with supper.  Once we had our supper, I helped her with the supper dishes, before I took our trash can down to the curb.  Then, I came back into the house, washed my hands, and helped her put away the dishes.  A little while later, my mom and I watched some TV shows, after I took out the trash.

Mom and I hugged before I hugged, before I watched another TV show, and after the news, we said, "Good night," and I wished Petie, Toby, and Skipper a good night, before I prayed , and I went to sleep.

  ‍Part Seventy-Three Friday, May3rd, 2013

‍I woke up to a sunny morning, I turned on the light for Toby and Skipper, before I uncovered Petie's cage.  Then, I checked on the suncatchers that I painted the day before while Petie hung out with me on the lanai.  After I felt the paint to see if it was dry, I fed Toby and Skipper.  Petie happily watched the morning game shows with me, and he was still happy because he got to be on the lanai with me yesterday.  I had my waffle, and I got ready for the day, cleaned Petie's cage, then I helped my mom with lunch.

I gave Petie his carrot, and after lunch, we ran some errands, we were going to go to ‍Petco, ‍but I suddenly started to not feel so well.  Mom made one more quick stop, while I stayed in the car, and tried to rest for a little bit.  After we got home, I rested, and I took some sinus/cold medicine, it felt like I was getting a cold.  When I got up from resting, I had some pizza burgers , celery, grapes, and some baked French fries for supper.

I also just watched some shows with mom, before we hugged, and I went to my room, where I watched another show, until it was time to get ready for the night, and I wished Petie, Skipper, and Toby a good night, covered Petie's cage, turned off the light for Toby and Skipper, after they ate their evening meal, had some more time in prayer, then I had a good night's rest.

 Part Seventy -Four Saturday, May 4th, 2013

‍I woke up on the following morning with a sore throat .  I knew that that sleeping on my daybed was not helping, but I wanted to be near Toby and Skipper, after I had moved their five gallon home near it on another stand or filing cabinet.  After I made my bed, and I fed Toby and Skipper, I also uncovered Petie's cage , before I heled my mom with our special breakfast.  Once the breakfast dishes were done, I got ready for the day. 

I also gave Petie his bath and royal treatment , then I cleaned my bathroom, and swept the carpet.  When the chores were done, mom and I had some lunch, Petie also had his carrot.  After lunch, I read Acts 2 , while Petie quietly listened, before I had my prayer, and also had a nap.  Later on, we had supper, and I got ready for the night, watched some TV, while I relaxed.  Then, Mom and I hugged , while we made a decision to stay home from church.

She did not feel too well either.  I was glad she said that, knowing that if we should stay home if we are not feeling well, and I could get more rest.  So, then I wished Petie, Toby, and Skipper good night, turned off their light, covered Petie for the night, had some time in prayer, before I went to sleep and rested a lot better in my bed.

    ‍Part Seventy-Five Sunday, May 5th, 2013

‍I woke up, after I had some time to sleep in.  I fed Toby and Skipper, and I helped Petie begin his day, after I uncovered his cage.  Today was also Skipper's fifth week with us!  After I ate some breakfast, I got ready for the day, and I cleaned Petie's cage.  After lunch, I read more of Acts 2 to Petie, before I had some prayer time.  Then, I found some gift bags , and a card for each of the gals at ‍Petco.  ‍I also placed each suncatcher I painted for them inside their gift bag.  One was a flower, and the other one was a butterfly.

Then, we left for ‍Petco ‍, because the sinus medicine helped me feel like going, once we arrived and went inside, I gave the first gift bag to one of the gals, and I told her that I wanted to give them a little gift for helping me make it through my first year with my five gallon aquarium.  I left the other gift bag with the first gal to deliver to the second gal.  The first gal told me that she liked the color, and that it would match a room in her house.  I was glad, and before we left , I selected the same background I had on my five gallon.  I also found a light house that had a Florida look to it, before I found a plant, along with a decoration that looked like a stump with mushrooms on it .

Our first gal also gave us the idea to use liquid plant food to nourish our plants from now on.  We thanked her, and we paid for our purchases , and we went home, before I decorated the ten gallon.  I also put some fish flakes in the ten to feed the good bacteria , that I needed in order for the aquarium to be a healthy and safe environment for Toby and Skipper, along with their new fish friends. Later on, we had supper, watched TV, then my mom and I hugged each other good night.  I also blew good night kisses to Petie, Skipper, and Toby, before I spent time in prayer, covered Pete's cage , turned out the light for Toby and Skipper , before I went to sleep.

   ‍Part Seventy-Six Monday, May 6th, 2013

‍ After another good night's rest, I woke up, and I made my bed.  Petie was very happy, while Toby and Skipper ate their food.  I took my time , and I watched some of the morning game shows with Petie, before I had a bowl of steamed rice .  After breakfast, I got ready for the day, cleaned Petie's cage , and his perches.  I also shook out his towel .  Mom and I had lunch, and I also made sure that Pete had his carrot.

When I was through with lunch, I read the end of Acts 2 while my sweet Pete listened , then I had my prayer time .  That afternoon, I also did a little re-arranging , before I tested the 10's environment, it was not ready yet.  So, I put in a little more of the flake food for the good bacteria to feast on.  Then, I changed some of the water in the 5, before I had some rest, and when it was time to help with supper, I did that too.  After supper, I helped my mom with the dishes and took out the trash for Tuesday's pick up.

I came back inside, and I spent some time working on posts, then I hugged my mom, got ready for the night, watched some TV, and some news.  After the news was over, I said my special good nights to Petie, Skipper, and Toby, before I said my bed time prayers, and I went to sleep.

    ‍Part Seventy- Seven Tuesday, May 7th, 2013

‍I woke up to a beautiful morning, and I made my bed.  Then, I uncovered Petie's cage, before I turned on the light for Toby and Skipper.  I allowed them to wake up a little bit, then Toby and Skipper ate their morning meal, and I had a waffle for breakfast.  I also got ready for the day, cleaned Petie's cage along with his toys, and I helped my mom with lunch.  While I gave Petie his carrot, that he happily took from my finger, I did a quick check on Toby and Skipper.  They were swimming around, so I ate my lunch feeling good.  After lunch, I read Acts 3 , had prayer, and I worked on the air stones again for Toby and Skipper's new 10 gallon home.

It was another taxing process, but I did not give up, I just kept trying to solve the issues, until I finally had another victory!  So, I took a well deserved nap.  After supper, I took out our Yard waste container.  That evening, I worked some more on the computer, or I just watched some TV, before Mom and I hugged.  After our hug, I got ready for the night, fed Toby and Skipper, and I had my special good nights with Petie, Skipper, and Toby, before I had some bedtime prayer, and I went to sleep.
