I finally finished watching all of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games coverage that I recorded. I also worked on the next set of pictures this week, I have to say that I was proud and inspired by all of the athletes from Team USA, and as much as I celebrated with them, I also felt their hearts break when they came so close to winning but their opponent won. My heart really broke for the Women's Water Polo Team, and the Women's Volleyball team, however I had plenty to cheer for too! I was so happy for Simone Biles and Suni Lee for overcoming health challenges and fighting for redemption, I loved every minute of all of the events that I watched, and there were a lot, and they all restored my hope for America. This week I was tuned into the Democratic National Convention, and I am 100% behind Kamala Harris, I will be voting for her for President, and I hope many more Americans will vote for her. I don't want the government to have the power to dictate when and how I have children, if I have children, I really have been way too busy tending to my mom's needs and taking care of everything that she can't. I don't have time to date, but that does not mean that I did not put my heart out there, and I am still keeping my heart open. So, JD Vance's stand on women who don't or can't have children is plain WRONG, and Project 2025 is a NIGHTMARE! Trump does not care about any of us, or America, or our rights, he only cares about himself and being our dictator. NO THANK YOU! The Republicans of yesterday are gone, now they are Trumpicans. Extremists that only care about their agenda being in power, and their social media status. Shortly after I became a Democrat, I was sent a survey from the above -mentioned party asking me if I would vote for Trump. Here is what I wrote on it and sent it back to them, my quote: "I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR TRUMP, I AM A DEMOCRAT!" They never sent me anything else after that, I also had an e-mail from him telling me he was glad I never left him. Excuse me, yes, I did. I did leave him, he was never my president, and he will never be my president! I am going to vote for moving us forward not backward, I am voting for a hope filled future. If you all are wondering what I did with his e-mail, I blocked it! I also had some news at the dentist this week, three teeth are a topic of concern, one is an old filling that is leaking into my tooth, I also have some fractures, and some of the porcelain is coming off of last year's filling. I go back on September 11th for my dentist to examine me due to a surgery that prevented me from seeing her. I am also hearing thunder, so I think I am only going to be sharing two pictures for today. The first picture is of the Santa wreath on the left lit up in red. The second picture is of the first attempt to get the green light to shine on the other Santa Wreath. I hope all of you are having a wonderful day no matter which part of the day you are in. I was cut short last week, so I am trying to get more pictures to share with you this morning, before the storms come back. Florida had our first taste of the tropics a couple weeks back, Debby, made landfall as a Cat 2 Hurricane, my area had Tropical Storm conditions, which made our power have glitches on every hour, so I did not get much sleep, but others had it worse my heart and prayers went out to the family that lost their teenage son, a tree fell on their house and he was killed by that tree. So, Mom and I decided that we are going to have to have our landscaper take down our last remaining Fan Palms, they are now 50 feet tall, and we could get into some serious trouble if we have a major storm and those trees fall on our neighbor's house or houses, or our house. Our insurance would not be sympathetic, so as soon as we can they will be removed. My prayers also went out to all of those in her path after she came over Florida, and then Ernesto and the people in his path, and recently I heard about the hurricane that was going to hit Hawaii. I will keep praying for all of the people that have been impacted or are being impacted. Also, again my sharing site is having some issues, so if some pictures are missing, I apologize. I have found a way around it, and hopefully whatever the issue is it will be solved soon. The third picture is of my second attempt to get the green light to cooperate for the picture. I am back again to hopefully share the last six pictures. So here I go. The ninth picture is of our other pole decorated for Christmas with the Deer Family. Last year I found new garland at the dollar store, I liked it so much that I bought one for the pole outside. The tenth picture is of our Jolly Holly Christmas Tree. Ten down and five more to go!
