The Good Days Continued September had more good days. Teddy Bear and Scooter continued to eat each day, and they had fun swimming around. I had fun watching them hang out together. I also bought supplies and took care of them by doing a mini clean for the 10. I got to concentrate on other things that I enjoyed. I caught up with some of my friends. I also showed some interest in studying how to work with animals, a television commercial continued to capture my attention. I had a discussion about it with my mom, and I told her about the program this school advertised on the television for veterinary assistant. So, one Sunday evening, I looked up Animal Behavior College, then I filled out some forms they had to request for information. Not long after I submitted the request, I had a message that let me know I would be contacted soon. I was contacted on September 16th, of 2013 which was the following day. I also had a good conversation on the phone before I had e-mails that contained information about how to apply on-line and how to apply for a loan. At that time, it felt overwhelming, and it was too expensive, we still had some bills to pay, so we decided to try another route. The same university that I was already enrolled in for early childhood education sent me information for early childhood writing, that was on Tuesday, the 17th of September. Mom and I contacted them, we had a nice lady talk to us. We worked together over the phone to transfer me out of the early childhood education into early childhood writing. I completed the registration on-line, then I was welcomed to the program. The next day I set up my Student Portal and another e-mail let me know my textbooks had been shipped out. I also took tender care of Petie, Scooter, and Teddy Bear. I had to put in the treatment for algae five days later, before I added more of the same treatment three days later. Then, I did my September cleaning for the 10. Other than that, everything else continued to be good. However, those goods did not last long. To Be Continued Until Then! Enjoy Your Weekend! For Everyone Celebrating I Hope You Have An Extra Happy And Special Mother's Day! God Bless! Here are all of my protests rolled up into one statement: I am praying for a new president! Musk is gone, I prayed for change and that was a good change. I have been praying this prayer for a new president since November of 2024. America deserves better! The world deserves better! No country should be bullied or pressured through economic tariffs to become part of the United States, DJT wants that not Americans! We just want prices for groceries to go down. Our rights restored, our government and democracy to prevail. Please join me in praying this prayer for new leadership and for democracy to win over a party that wants to make him the ruler for life. I only bow down to one king, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I refuse to bow down to a wannabe dictator! *Proud Fan Of Alexei Yagudin * ;) *Proud Fan Of Alexei Yagudin * ;)

Saturday September 28th, 2013 Teddy Bear's Final Day Teddy Bear's final day seemed like any normal Saturday morning. I uncovered Petie's cage, fed Teddy Bear and Scooter, Mom and I had breakfast together, and I got ready for the day. I also gave Petie his royal treatment and bath with a spray bottle. Then, I added some more algae treatment to the 10 that afternoon after I had lunch. I also noticed that Teddy Bear was not moving around much, so I kept my eye on him. Mom and I had our supper, before I saw that Teddy Bear was struggling with swimming, and later on that evening, he was stuck in the filter. His tail had been sucked into the plastic tube and Teddy Bear couldn't move. I took my hand and gently set him free. He couldn't swim and I knew that he was dying, so I put water in the carrier, and I caught Teddy Bear. He hardly put up a fight actually he had no fight. He even looked like he was gone already. Mom and I went outside, and we prepared a place for him in the flowerpot with Sammy. Then, I took the carrier outside, and that was where Teddy Bear had one last surprise for us. After I lifted the lid to the carrier, the cool night air hit Teddy Bear, and he swam around inside the carrier in really fast circles. I quickly put the lid back on, before we found a quiet place in the garage for him to rest and pass away in peace. Once he did, which we made sure that he was no longer with us, then we took the carrier back to his resting place, and we gently placed him in the hole, and covered him with dirt. We went back inside, and Mom told me that Scooter would be our last fish. I was bummed, but I did not argue about it. I watched some Tv, before I hugged my mom, and I blew extra kisses to Petie, after I gave some extra love to Scooter, covered Petie for the night, had my prayers, and shed some tears, before I went to sleep, which ended Teddy Bear's final day. To Be Continued Until Then! Enjoy Your Weekend! Stay Cool and Kind! God Bless! I am still praying for a new president! No tariffs! Lower Prices! *Proud Fan Of Alexei Yagudin * ;)

Scooter's Final Days The day after Teddy Bear's death, I checked on Scooter. He seemed to be good, he ate his food, but I was also sure that he missed Teddy Bear. He was just taking things in stride. The same pattern continued each day from the end of September into October. On October 15th, I did notice that he did not seem to swim around very much, but he continued to eat his shrimp pellet, the tiny portion I gave him. So, I just continued to take care of Scooter, I also gave him love, while I observed his behavior. Everything changed on the morning of October 16th. When I woke up that morning, I knew that Scooter was gone. I left the light off, and I uncovered Petie's cage. While I made my bed, I kept my eyes away from the tank. Mom came in and saw where Scooter was at the top of the tank, and she told me that Scooter was gone. I told her that I saw him too, then I got ready for the day. Mom and I had breakfast, and we watched a morning game show together, then she helped me get Scooter with the net. We took him outside and around to our back area, where we found a flowerpot to bury Scooter in. He shared his final resting place with Chippy. Mom had a nice and deep hole ready, but we had another situation, that was beyond our control. Scooter got stuck in the net! Mom tried to shake him free, and he fell out onto the rock, before we quickly buried him after it happened. His final day also the 10's final day. I will share more about that next week. To Be Continued For One More Time Until Then! Enjoy Your Memorial Day Weekend for those celebrating, I hope you have a fun and safe Memorial. If Memorial Day is a hard one for you, I understand. If you served in any military branch for America or your own country, I want to say, Thank You so much for your service! God Bless! *Proud Fan Of Alexei Yagudin * ;)

My Ten Gallon Aquarium Adventure Was Over After Scooter was laid to rest, I returned to my room, and I emptied out all of the water. Then, I took out the remaining decorations, along with the live plant, before I scooped out the gravel. A little while later, I watered the grass and our flowers with the water. Mom also had an idea that I was not too thrilled with, she wanted us to spread the gravel out on some of our tree stumps. So, we did that, and I put a blue plate, and I placed the lighthouse on it, then I added some of the gravel around on the blue plate. I also planted the live plant, but it was an aquatic plant, so it really needed water. When we came inside, I cleaned Petie's cage, and I spent some time with him. Mom and I had lunch, before I took a picture of the aquarium and everything that went with it that we were going to try to sell. Then, she helped me move it into the garage. I also spent some time studying, before we had supper. After supper, I helped with the dishes. Later on, Mom and I watched Toy Story of Terror, in the short movie, the toys vanished at a motel, but it was a man and his pet lizard taking them. The man also sold the toys online, so Jessie had to overcome her fear of being boxed in, with the help of Combat Carl, and she came to the rescue then she saved all of the toys. After Mom and I hugged, I watched another show then Petie and I had BIBLE together, I also gave him kisses, before I covered him, had more prayers, then I went to sleep. The next morning, I woke up and I felt a little sad, but I also had some relief. I loved my fish but losing them over and over was not very fun. I still had Petie, and I loved him too. Petie did not have to share me anymore. I would always remember the good times, like when I laughed at Scooby and Shaggy for swimming around really fast when they got scared, like the characters that I named them after. How some of my fish followed my finger that was really cool. Here is a picture of the 10 Gallon after it was torn down, we tried to sell it, but it ended up going to Good Will. Sorry for the small size.
Next week, I will share the American Bald Eagle Tales from 2013, and it really was the last time. On Tuesday morning, I lost Daisy May, but on Wednesday my mom and I found Sammy a new friend, that I named Gracie Rose, Gracie for short, and she let me take some pictures of her yesterday. So, I want to continue on in Animals And Pets to finish all of the pictures of my sweet birds, and my sister's pets as well. Until Then! Enjoy Your Weekend! God Bless! *Proud Fan Of Alexei Yagudin * ;)
